Festive Pear and Gin Fizz Cocktail

This festive pear and gin fizz cocktail has all the same components of a gin fizz, but it’s infused with a deliciously sweet pear juice. Classic gin fizz cocktails use an egg white to make frothy and fizzy, but this delicious twist uses tonic water, which is carbonated, to give it that fizziness. Not only does tonic water add carbonation, but it contains quinine and sugar to give your cocktail a delicious sweet and tart flavor.

This cocktail is perfect for spring or fall weather, and pairs beautifully with fall and winter holidays. It can easily be doubled and whipped up for Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings.

How To Make A Pear and Gin Fizz Cocktail

Whipping up a delicious pear and gin fizz cocktail is so easy, and you only need 5-ingredients. Here’s what you need:

  • Ice– You can use ice cubes or crushed ice. It’s all about your preference. I prefer crushed ice.
  • Gin– You can use whatever Gin you prefer, but Hendrick’s Gin is deemed one of the best for this cocktail. It pairs nicely with the tonic water.
  • Pear juice– Choose any concentrated pear juice you prefer. You could also use pear juice from canned pears, and add the pears as a garnishment to the cocktail.
  • Lemon juice– Lemon juice adds another layer of flavor. If you don’t have lemon juice, lime juice would be a good substitute.
  • Tonic water– Tonic water gently intensifies the gin’s natural taste and adds a bit of bubbly to your cocktail.
